Recent events have led to an increase in the price of the cryptocurrency above the level of 50 cents and do not exclude further strengthening.
The Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission has approved the launch of the first bitcoin exchange-traded index fund in Latin America, to be launched by QR Capital. The value of ETF units is calculated based on a basket of certain assets, following their market value. In the case of a bitcoin ETF, the exchange-traded fund is tied to that cryptocurrency. Such assets are traded on traditional exchanges, which allows institutional investors to gain secure access to the digital asset market. This fund became the world's fourth regulated investment product linked to bitcoin.
